Server

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. You will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring that guests have a memorable dining experience.

Duties:

-Service Preparation & Cleanliness: Set up and maintain restaurant areas, including patios, service stations, and washrooms, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for guests.

-Guest Interaction: Greet guests warmly, provide menu explanations, recommend food and beverages, and ensure guest satisfaction through attentive service and handling inquiries or complaints professionally.

-Order Accuracy & Upselling: Take accurate food and drink orders, process special requests, upsell menu items, and record orders in the POS system.

-Food & Beverage Knowledge: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of menu items, daily specials, ingredients, preparation methods, and allergy information.

-Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with management, kitchen, bar, and service staff to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues during service.

-Compliance & Closing Duties: Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards, handle payments responsibly, and assist with closing duties, including resetting tables and areas for the next service.

Requirements:

-Experience: Minimum 1–3 years as a server in a full-service, high-volume restaurant.

-Technical Proficiency: Ability to use multi-line phones and MS Office tools (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel); familiarity with Touch Bistro is highly desirable.

-Service Excellence: Exceptional guest service skills, strong communication in English (verbal and written), and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

-Physical Requirements: Ability to bend, twist, stand for long periods, and lift up to 25 pounds while performing job duties.

-Certifications: Serving It Right certification is mandatory; Food Safe certification is a strong asset.

-Fluent English Conversational

-Work authorization in Canada is required.
