Staff Hunters has partnered with a highly successful, growing organization on a search for a Payroll Specialist.

Gathers all required payroll data, including timesheets, W-2 forms, benefits information, direct deposit forms and tax filing documents; regularly updates this data, and tracks down any missing timesheets in a timely manner.

Completes data entry for new client setups; inputs all employee data and records and maintains those records.

Distributes payment to all of the company’s employees on a weekly basis.

Answers, responds and resolve any payroll-related questions or concerns employees might have.

Cross-trains in other areas in the accounting department; stepping in to help when needed.

Processes client assessments using E-Verify, verifying accuracy of documents.

Prepares 401K worksheet for submission to investment company.

Child support/garnishment processing; quarterly Worker's Comp reports.

Prepares reports and reconciliations for mid-year and annual audit.

The ideal Payroll Specialist:

Strong mathematical skills.

Attention to detail.

Proficiency with excel, word and payroll software systems.

Ability to work under pressure.

Reliability and honesty.
