Purpose:

To support the Financial Controlling function by assisting in reporting, analysis, and closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial information for management decision-making. Follows company’s KPIs and makes sure control points are working correctly.

Summary of the Job Role:

The Junior Controlling Specialist supports financial planning and analysis activities, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and internal control. The role focuses on assisting Business controllers and maintaining data accuracy

Key Deliverables:

Support a standardized month-end closing process and ensure data accuracy

Assit in reporting forecasts and actuals for the internal team and submission to stakeholders, and fulfill other external reporting requirements

Support in preparation of monthly management reports/ presentations in line with the internal requirements, delivering the reports through the (new) templates and worksheets circulated by HQ

Ability to compare actual and expected results, to understand and report variances. Providing analysis and comments when needed.

Ensuring effective collaboration of accurate and timely information for the relevant reporting process.

Working closely with R&D and commercial team for the quotations and able to learn & use CA program

Assit in the preparation, review, and submission of the annual budgets to stakeholders

Participate in sustainability / ESG-related activities including verification of records

Participate in perpetual inventory counting and support reconciliation activities

Ability for developing and implementing new reporting requirements

Taking an active role in ad hoc requests and requirements

Takes initiatives and acts for the areas that should be improved.

Adapt to flexible working hours when necessary

Being result and output oriented

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent.

Skills/Knowledge:

Having analytical thinking skills, able to establish cause-effect relationships between numbers.

A curious and persistent personality with a “can-do” attitude and “hands-on” mentality.

Data driven and detail-oriented approach and able to translate data into insights and actions.

Proactively looks for and proposes improvements in the procedures, analyses and working methods used in the organization.

Willing to learn and ambitious.

Giving importance to self-development in line with career goals.

Cost accounting background.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

SAP FI-CO knowledge.

Experience:

2+ years’ experience in finance + Audit experience is a plus.

Business Understanding:

Knowledge of Controlling & Accounting principles.

Advanced knowledge about the operation of manufacturing units.
