Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and highly organized Capital Projects Pipeline Expeditor to manage the procurement and logistics lifecycle of critical pipeline materials. In this role, you will work closely with Project Managers, vendors, and field teams to ensure long-lead items (e.g., line pipe, valves, fittings) are delivered on time, within budget, and to exact project specifications.
Key Responsibilitie
sVendor Coordination & Tracking: Monitor and trace purchase orders from issuance through fabrication to final delivery. Proactively identify and resolve supplier delays
.Material Management: Coordinate with warehousing teams to track inventory, verify shipping quantities, and inspect pipeline materials for damage prior to distribution
.Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of packing lists, bills of lading, and inspection certificates. Generate and distribute weekly progress and status reports to project stakeholders
.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the liaison between engineering (for design specs), procurement (for contracts), and construction (for site readiness)
.Compliance & Safety: Ensure all material handling and deliveries comply with DOT, OSHA, and company safety standards

Qualifications & Requiremen
tsEducation: High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration preferre
d.Experience: Minimum of 6-10 years of experience in project expediting, procurement, or supply chain management, ideally within the oil & gas, midstream, or heavy industrial construction sector
s.Technical Skills: Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and project tracking softwar
e.Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to negotiate with vendors and coordinate with field personne
