Job Description Faculty Position - Outpatient Pediatric Urology On behalf of the Division Chief of Urology, we are excited to announce a national search for a skilled fellowship-trained pediatric urologist.
This role will enhance our clinical and educational initiatives in Westport, CT, located 54 miles north of Manhattan.Opportunity Highlights:Exclusive Children's Hospital: Our organization is the only independent children's hospital in the state.Strategic Growth: The Fairfield County clinic is vital to the expansion of our pediatric urology services, aiming to reach approximately 1.5 million pediatric patients.Outpatient Practice: The new multi-specialty clinic in Westport will provide modern office space, procedure rooms, and an ambulatory surgical center just minutes away.Supportive Environment: The incoming urologist will engage in divisional educational programs and will receive robust support from faculty outreach and dedicated ancillary staff, including nurses and medical assistants.Research Opportunities: There will be chances to participate in clinical research initiatives.Compensation Package: The salary structure includes a guaranteed base salary starting at $525,000+, along with an RVU productivity incentive, sign-on bonus, and relocation assistance.Leadership Role: The selected physician will collaborate closely with the division chief to enhance our established presence in the region and will be the first full-time pediatric urologist in southern Connecticut.Work Environment: This position is primarily outpatient-focused in Fairfield County, with no on-call duties at our Hartford facility.Support Staff: The urologist will have full-time nursing support and a dedicated advanced practice provider, already budgeted by the division.Community Engagement: The provider will focus on building relationships and referrals in Fairfield County, acting as a brand ambassador for our organization in one of the region's fastest-growing areas.Future Opportunities: A medical directorship may be available after one year of service in Westport.Surgical Facilities: Block time will be accessible at two regional surgery centers located in Stamford and Norwalk.Candidate Requirements:A minimum of 3 years of post-fellowship experience is required.Current board certification from the American Board of Urology is essential.Ability to work autonomously in a multidisciplinary clinic alongside other pediatric specialists.
