About Embedded Design Engineering (EDE) EDE is a Minnesota-based electronics design company founded in 2018.
We partner with businesses to design and deliver reliable, manufacturable, and testable embedded products — bringing them from concept through production with technical excellence and engineering rigor.
We support the full product development lifecycle, including system architecture, hardware design, embedded software and firmware integration, PCB layout, Embedded Linux / Yocto workflows, functional testing, validation, and production support.
Our projects span industries such as IoT, industrial automation, automotive, medical, and consumer electronics.
A core specialty is building practical test and verification systems that improve repeatability, reduce manual effort, and provide clear evidence of product performance.
As we grow, we are investing in robust, traceable workflows for quality-sensitive and regulated environments — including requirements management, risk analysis, verification planning, and Jira/Confluence-based traceability.
At EDE, our team takes ownership.
We value practical problem-solving, strong collaboration, and delivering high-quality work to our customers.
