Equipment Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities
Conduct periodic inspections on assigned equipment according to Preventive Maintenance Schedule (ISO Form 11-01-01-B).
Perform preventative maintenance work on equipment and machineries to prevent breakdowns, costly repairs, and the development of unsafe conditions.
Promptly respond to and complete job requisitions according to request forms and submit to Maintenance.
Use proper tools and techniques to perform the required tasks in a professional and safe manner.
Research, order, and prepare spare parts needed with the most cost-effective solution.
Report any potential problems to the Maintenance Manager.
Perform daily housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Interact professionally and diplomatically with managers, co-workers, and vendors.
Be available for emergency maintenance.
May be required to operate a forklift.
Cleans shop and parts area at the end of every shift

Qualifications
High school diploma, or equivalent required
Minimum of 2-4 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician.
Strong Knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical Systems, as well as industrial equipment and machinery.
Be able to understand PLC ladder logic
Ability to work with Voltage from ( 5V DC to 480V AC )
Ability to assemble and align gears, bearings, and shafts
Ability to inspect equipment for defects
Ability to install and maintain various pipe systems
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
Possess basic computer skills to complete work orders and other computer work as directed
Experience with Preventive maintenance programs ( CMMS )
High attention to detail and strong commitment to quality
Understanding of safety and environmental regulations
Ability to lift and work in physically demanding conditions
Ability to operate a forklift if needed
Follow and adhere to Lock-out / Tag-out procedures at all times
Cleans shop and parts area at the end of every shift
Physical Demands
The employee must frequently stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The ability to lift 20 lbs., open filing cabinets, and bend, stand, or climb on step ladders as necessary.
Environment
The manufacturing facility is exposed to electronics assembly equipment and materials.
May require working in a controlled environment with specific temperature and humidity requirements.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required to perform the work.
Hourly Rate Ranges: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
