We are seeking a highly skilled Executive Consultant (Genomic Epidemiology & IT Infrastructure) to lead a strategic assessment and roadmap development project within a public health environment. This is a critical role that requires a blend of deep technical knowledge in advanced molecular diagnostics and the executive presence to facilitate high-level strategy sessions with diverse stakeholders.

The selected candidate will perform a comprehensive assessment of the current technology stack across laboratory and epidemiology environments. You will work closely with IT and clinical staff to identify current limitations, uncover future opportunities, and design a strategic roadmap and implementation plan.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct an independent, domain-expert assessment of current laboratory and epidemiology IT environments.

• Design a clear technical vision and project roadmap.

• Develop a robust implementation plan to address infrastructure, data security, and interoperability needs.

• Collaborate and elicit requirements from laboratory technicians, informatics teams, disease surveillance staff, and executive leadership.
