Payroll Processor
The Payroll Team will be responsible for all aspects of processing North America Payroll. They will report to the Senior Payroll Manager and be based in one of our main processing locations. This individual will be responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of a large and complex 80,000+ employee payroll. Additional responsibilities will include maintaining and updating team procedures and training. The best candidate will be a subject matter expert in North American payroll processing. Global payroll is a major plus. There is an expectation that the payroll processor will make critical and timely decisions to ensure payroll is compliant and employee concerns prioritized. Our Payroll team facilitates better, faster, and more informed decision-making across the business. Responsibilities:
Process payroll for 80,000+ salaried and hourly employees ensuring the accuracy of data entry and coordinating timely payments
Data audit to ensure accuracy and compliance of employee pay
Reconcile wages and hours. Calculate and update timecards as needed
Monitor timely receipt of required employee documents
Maintain system data including, new hire, timekeeping, direct deposit, benefits, terminations, garnishments, etc.
Calculate and process off-cycle manual checks
Process leaves of absence and terminations according to state laws
Skills:
Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience
FPC (Fundamental Payroll Certification) preferred
2+ years payroll processing experience in a US multi-state environment required
Canada payroll processing experience preferred
Ability to develop and document payroll processes and procedures
Problem-solving, accuracy, and issue resolution required
Knowledge of payroll and timekeeping systems required, UKG (UltiPro) system preferred
