Job Title: Human Resources Manager

Reports To: Managing Director / Executive Leadership Team Overview

Our client in the HR industry is looking for an experienced and dynamic Human Resources Manager to lead and manage the full HR function across a diverse, multi-site operation.

This role requires a strategic yet hands-on HR leader who can partner with executive management while ensuring consistent implementation of HR best practices across all business units. Position Summary

The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for both strategic and operational HR leadership, including industrial relations, compliance, recruitment, talent management, and workforce planning. The role also involves managing expatriate work permits, driving employee engagement, and fostering a high-performance culture.

The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership while ensuring alignment between HR strategy and overall business objectives. Key Responsibilities Strategic HR Leadership

Develop and implement HR strategy aligned with business goals

Partner with executive leadership on organisational development and workforce planning

Drive succession planning and leadership development initiatives

Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures in line with legislation and best practice

Prepare HR reports, metrics, and workforce analytics Industrial Relations

Lead all industrial relations matters across the organisation

Advise management on labour law, disciplinary procedures, and employee relations

Manage disciplinary hearings, grievances, investigations, and appeals

Conduct complex workplace investigations

Represent the organisation in labour disputes where necessary

Maintain strong relationships with employee representatives and stakeholders

Proactively manage employee relations to minimise risk Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

Oversee recruitment for management and specialist roles

Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies

Manage relationships with recruitment agencies

Participate in senior-level interviews

Oversee onboarding and induction processes

Ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal policies Employee Relations & Performance Management

Promote a positive organisational culture

Coach and support managers on people management practices

Oversee performance management systems

Drive employee engagement and retention initiatives

Manage conflict resolution processes Work Permits & Compliance

Oversee expatriate work permit and visa processes

Ensure compliance with labour and immigration laws

Maintain accurate employee records and documentation

Monitor legislative changes and advise management accordingly Learning & Development

Identify training and development needs across the organisation

Develop leadership and succession programmes

Coordinate internal and external training initiatives

Promote continuous professional development HR Administration & Systems

Oversee HR administration and personnel records

Ensure integrity and accuracy of HR information systems

Prepare monthly HR reports

Maintain strict confidentiality of employee information

Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures Payroll & Benefits

Liaise with payroll on employee changes, onboarding, and terminations

Administer employee benefits for management staff

Ensure accurate HR data submission for payroll processing

Support salary reviews and benchmarking exercises Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Work permit processing timelines Minimum Requirements Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Psychology, or related field

Professional HR certification or membership is advantageous Experience

8 10 years of HR experience, including at least 5 years in a senior HR management role

Strong industrial relations experience

Experience managing large workforces (100+ employees)

Experience in multi-site operational environments

Proven experience managing expatriate work permits and immigration processes

Experience supporting executive leadership Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of labour legislation and industrial relations

Experience in disciplinary processes and investigations

Conflict resolution and negotiation skills
