Software Engineer

Emerald Technologies is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Software Engineer to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining enterprise-level applications using Java/J2EE technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable software solutions, develop APIs and web services, manage database operations, and support application deployment and maintenance.

Technologies: Java, J2EE, JSP, Servlets, EJB, JPA, JUnit, Maven, JavaScript, Jenkins, SVN, SOAP/REST Web Services, JBoss, PostgreSQL, Oracle DB.

Qualifications:

1–3+ years of software development experience

Strong knowledge of Java/J2EE and relational databases

Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and version control systems

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
