Trident Consulting is seeking a " Packaging Operator" for one of our client in "Allendale, South Carolina". A global leader in business and technology services.

Role: Packaging Operator

Location: Allendale, South Carolina

Duration: 12-Month

Pay Rate: $18/hr - 20/hr on W2(Inclusive all)

Shift: Rotating 12-hour Swing Shift (Days & Nights)

Key Responsibilities

Production & Packaging Operations

Perform packaging and production operations according to established manufacturing procedures and work instructions.

Package chemical products while ensuring product quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.

Transport chemicals, raw materials, and equipment using pumps, piping systems, forklifts, pallet jacks, and dollies.

Monitor production processes to ensure product quality and quantity standards are maintained.

Clean production equipment and work areas following completion of manufacturing activities.

Support manufacturing operations to meet production schedules and business requirements.

Documentation & Communication

Maintain complete and accurate batch production records.

Document production activities in accordance with quality and regulatory requirements.

Ensure all equipment logs, process records, and operational documentation are completed accurately.

Communicate equipment status, production updates, and process deviations to supervisors and team members.

Report safety, quality, or operational concerns promptly.

Safety & Compliance

Follow all company safety procedures, GMP practices, and environmental regulations.

Safely handle chemicals and hazardous materials using approved methods.

Wear and maintain required personal protective equipment (PPE), including chemical-resistant gear when necessary.

Properly label all containers, equipment, and in-process materials.

Participate in safety meetings, training programs, and quality initiatives.

Identify and report unsafe conditions and assist in corrective actions.

Coordinate proper disposal of waste materials and complete compliance documentation.

Equipment Operation

Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials and finished products.

Utilize pallet jacks, pumps, piping systems, and other production equipment.

Perform basic troubleshooting of production and packaging equipment.

Assist with equipment setup, operation, and shutdown activities.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma with 1–3 years of manufacturing, chemical processing, warehouse, or production experience; OR

Associate Degree in a Life Science or related technical field with 1–2 years of relevant experience.

Forklift operation experience required.

Experience working in manufacturing, chemical, pharmaceutical, industrial, or production environments preferred.

Ability to work rotating 12-hour day and night shifts.

Ability to lift and move materials weighing over 20 lbs.

Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.

Work Environment

Chemical manufacturing and packaging facility.

Exposure to chemicals requiring Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Heavy lifting required (over 20 lbs.).

Physical work in a production environment.

Ability to work rotating day and night shifts.
