Required skills:

Must-have (Core) - Hands-on development experience in COBOL, CICS, and DB2 for both online and batch applications, including analysis, coding, unit testing, and Migration. - Strong working knowledge of CICS application programming, including COMMAREA, CICS screens . - Experience in developing CICS web services with SOAP/REST - Troubleshooting skills for production/ test issues such as CICS abends,DB2 SQL errors, time outs etc.

Nice to have skills:

Nice-to-have (Modernization / Integration) - Experience creating/exposing APIs using *** z/OS Connect, including COBOL copybook --> JSON mapping and service enablement of existing business logic. - Familiar with API testing tools such as Postman/Ready API/SoapUI for request/response validation and payload troubleshooting
