Saint Anselm College, a liberal arts college in the Benedictine tradition, is seeking a Program Coordinator and Test Proctor in the Academic Resource Center. This position reports to the Assistant Dean for Academic Support Services. Successful candidates will be able to assist the College in advancing its mission and strategic priorities, which include creating and sustaining an environment where every member of the community feels valued and welcomed.
Full-time, 10-month position
Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities
Manage logistics for ARC programs, including space and materials coordination
Support Peer Tutor program, including monitoring staff work shifts and assisting with payroll as needed
Assist with evaluating program effectiveness by running reports of ARC usage statistics and regularly sharing data with Assistant Dean
Manage ARC email accounts, responding to inquiries and connecting students with services
Provide exam proctoring support by preparing previously approved exam requests, coordinating with faculty to obtain and return exams, and administering examinations in accordance with established procedures, including monitoring testing rooms, enforcing time limits, addressing student questions and concerns, reporting irregularities, and responding to equipment malfunctions.
Facilitate student access to assistive technology
Contribute to a welcoming and accessible environment for all students coming into the ARC
Desired Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred
At least 1-2 years of experience in academic or a similar setting interacting with students from a variety of backgrounds with a variety of academic support needs
Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively
Reliability, confidentiality, and high integrity
Familiarity with Google, Microsoft, Zoom, and other similar technology applications
Familiarity with a four-year residential college setting and commitment to the mission of a Catholic, liberal arts institution
