Full Time Restaurant Manager

SALARY RANGE $76,515 – $80,000 + Superannuation

Restaurant Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:

· Organising and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant to ensure efficient and high-quality dining and catering services in accordance with business objectives.

· Planning and developing menus in consultation with kitchen staff, ensuring dishes reflect the restaurant's Turkish Halal cuisine and pizzeria offerings while maintaining quality and cost efficiency.

· Managing and controlling food and beverage inventory, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring all ingredients meet Halal certification standards.

· Recruiting, training, scheduling, and supervising front-of-house and kitchen staff, including performance management and ongoing development.

· Monitoring and maintaining compliance with food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and workplace health and safety (WHS) requirements under ACT legislation.

· Handling customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business.

· Managing financial operations including cash handling, POS systems, daily reconciliation, budgeting, and preparation of financial reports for the business owner.

· Planning and organising special functions, catering events, and promotional activities to grow the restaurant's customer base.

· Liaising with suppliers, delivery providers, and external contractors to ensure consistent supply chain management.

· Ensuring the restaurant environment is clean, well-maintained, and of suitable appearance at all times.

REQUIRED SKILLS

AQF Diploma or higher in Hospitality Management, Restaurant Management,

Business Management, or a closely related field;

OR

At least 5 years of demonstrated experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a café, restaurant, or food service establishment.
