Veritas Strategic Insights is hiring a Policy Research Analyst to support research public policy, geopolitics, international affairs, and economic risk.

This remote contract role is ideal for an experienced analyst with strong knowledge of the ability to monitor political news, interpret policy developments, and produce clear written assessments.

Key Responsibilities

Track and interpret political, legislative, regulatory, and policy developments

Monitor political news, government activity, and emerging policy trends

Conduct research across a wide range of policy areas

Assess the implications of political events and policy changes

Produce concise, accurate, and practical written analysis

Gather and evaluate information from multiple sources

Work independently on sensitive, high-value research projects

About You

Multiple years’ experience in policy analysis, political research, government affairs, regulation, public administration, defence, intelligence, or a similar field

Strong understanding of politics, government, and current affairs

Ideally experienced within or alongside government agencies, legislative bodies, regulatory organisations, think tanks, or policy teams

Excellent written communication and research skills

Able to interpret complex information and identify the key issues quickly

Comfortable working independently and discreetly
