Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Senior Java Developer - AI to join their team. As a Senior Java Developer - AI, you will be part of the IT Transformation and Modernization Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Senior Java Developer - AI

Location: Southlake, TX (Onsite in Austin or Southlake 4 times weekly)

What's the Job?

Lead the development and deployment of large-scale software solutions supporting high-volume transactions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize legacy systems to distributed platforms.

Implement AI/ML solutions, including Large Language Models, into existing workflows and systems.

Support cloud deployment strategies using platforms such as AWS, GCP, or PCF, ensuring high availability and scalability.

Drive continuous improvement through automation, scripting, and innovative problem-solving approaches.

What's Needed?

7+ years of professional software engineering experience with Java, Spring, and web services.

2+ years of hands-on experience with AI/ML implementation and deployment.

Experience working with containers, microservices, and cloud environments supporting CI/CD pipelines.

Knowledge of databases such as MongoDB, Aerospike, or PostgreSQL.

Strong understanding of broker-dealer operations and financial domain expertise.
