Job Description

All qualified candidates will be responded to in 24 hours or less. Active TS/SCI is a must. This effort is on-site in Sterling, VA. Employment type: Full Time W-2 or Contract Rate: open to negotiation. Benefits: including health, dental vision, PTO, holidays, 401K, etc...

Principal Systems Engineer

o Experience applying Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles, including system modeling with Cameo, or equivalent tools.

o Familiarity with digital engineering practices and tool chains to enhance design, integration, and test workflows.

o Experience with high-level programming languages (e.g. Python).

o Demonstrated engineering technical abilities and project management experience.

o Experience collaborating with internal and external customers in a team environment (Government, Military, SETA, and Contractor).

o Active and transferable TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.

Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 8+ years of prior engineering experience.

Pluses

o Experience with systems installation, integration, and test activities.

o Proficiency in relevant programming languages (Python, C++, etc).

o Experience with Request for Change (RFC) impact reviews and assessment processes.

o Experience with customer NSIS requirements and rapid delivery methods.

o Evidence of strong customer relationships and stakeholder engagement.

o Experience working across contract and location boundaries.

o Proficiency with Atlassian JIRA, Confluence, and collaborative engineering tools.
