SALARY

SUMMARY

The Senior Project Administrator (Construction) will play a critical role in administering and overseeing the successful delivery of MLHS’s turnkey modular construction projects, including small second dwellings and granny flat developments. The position is responsible for project administration of site audits, ensuring compliance with construction and safety standards, administering and managing project schedules, and overseeing trade and contractor activities throughout all stages of the build process.

Working closely with suppliers, contractors, clients, and internal teams, the role will ensure projects are completed efficiently, within budget, and in accordance with approved timelines, engineering specifications, and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will contribute to operational planning, quality assurance, project reporting, and overall workflow coordination to support the company’s expansion into modular construction services.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Coordination and Delivery

• Oversee end-to-end modular construction projects from site preparation through to completion

• Manage project schedules, timelines, and workflow coordination to ensure projects are delivered within agreed deadlines

• Coordinate internal trades, subcontractors, suppliers, and external stakeholders throughout all project stages

Site Audits and Compliance Management

• Conduct site inspections and audits to assess construction readiness, safety, and compliance requirements

• Ensure compliance with the National Construction Code (NCC), WHS regulations, council requirements, and company procedures

• Monitor quality assurance and quality control processes across all construction activities

Contractor and Stakeholder Management

• Liaise with contractors, engineers, surveyors, suppliers, clients, and local authorities to support efficient project delivery

• Oversee contractor performance and report on project progress, variations, delays, and operational issues

• Respond to client and contractor inquiries relating to project scheduling, compliance, and operational matters

Project Administration and Reporting

• Prepare and manage project documentation including contracts, permits, work orders, compliance records, and progress reports

• Maintain accurate project records and provide operational updates to senior management

• Assist with procurement coordination, material scheduling, and supplier communication to support project continuity

Operational Improvement and Risk Management

• Identify construction risks, operational issues, and project delays and implement corrective actions where required

• Support continuous improvement initiatives relating to project administration systems, workflow efficiency, and construction processes

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Relevant qualification in Construction Management, Project Management or related field

• Previous 2-3 years of minimum experience in planning and undertaking administration of construction project and site administration

• Knowledge of NCC, WHS regulations, and Australian construction standards

• Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to coordinate trades, contractors, suppliers, and project schedules

• Experience managing project documentation, reports, and compliance records
