This is a great part-time job opportunity for an experienced electrician to hlep train the next generation of electricians. Our premier construction trade school in Loudoun County, Virginia, has an opening for an Electrical Instructor to train apprentices for commercial construction industry.

The Opportunity

Location: Northern Virginia (Loudoun County)

Schedule: One night per week (4 hours); September through early June.

Compensation: Competitive hourly wage

Support: Access to master trainers and a dedicated support team

Key Responsibilities

Classroom Instruction: Facilitate NCCER curriculum (curriculum provides the lesson plans, and instructional resources needed) with focus on the commercial industry.

Progress Tracking: Monitor student performance, provide constructive feedback.

Code Compliance: Emphasize the importance of the NEC (National Electrical Code) and rigorous safety standards.

Qualifications

Licensure: Must hold a valid Journeyman Electrician License.

Experience: A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the electrical trade.

Communication: Strong ability to relay technical information to students of various skill levels.
