Machine Operator - Winder

Position Summary:
The Winder is responsible for operating winding equipment to produce high-quality industrial insulation products. This role requires attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate winding machines to wrap and form insulation materials according to specifications
Monitor product quality and make adjustments as needed to meet production standards
Measure, cut, and secure materials to ensure accuracy and consistency
Inspect finished products for defects and ensure compliance with quality requirements
Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety guidelines
Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE
Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
Assist with basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting when necessary
Qualifications:
Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience is a plus, but not required
Ability to read measurements and follow written and verbal instructions
Strong attention to detail and quality control
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
Work Environment:
Manufacturing/production facility setting
Exposure to industrial equipment, noise, and varying temperatures
Requires standing, bending, and repetitive motion throughout the shift
