Job Description
Role Overview
As the QA Engineer for Joble, you will manage and execute the quality assurance functions across our web and voice platforms — from manual exploratory testing and regression runs to writing comprehensive test scripts, mapping edge cases, and auditing end-to-end user journeys. You will work closely with the product leads and the development team, ensuring our systems maintain top-tier stability across our international markets. This is a 100% remote role.
What You Will Be Doing
Test Execution & Bug Tracking
Perform rigorous manual testing, regression testing, and exploratory testing across the Joble web application and core interfaces.
Deeply test Joble’s AI voice capabilities, automated chat handlers, and web agent workflows to ensure absolute stability, accuracy, and performance under real-world conditions.
Systematically reproduce, isolate, and document bugs with clear, step-by-step replication logs, technical context, and developer notes.
Maintain a structured tracking cadence within our project management systems to ensure no identified issue goes unresolved or falls through the cracks.
Manage the bug tracking pipeline daily — classifying issue severity, identifying affected builds, and driving tickets through to verification.
Test Framework & Documentation
Develop, structure, and maintain comprehensive test cases, verification checklists, and user-acceptance testing (UAT) scripts for all new feature rollouts and AI iterations.
Map out complex user journeys and automated task execution workflows to ensure edge cases are thoroughly covered before deployment.
Author clear internal QA documentation, establishing expected system behavior and platform-specific performance benchmarks.
Analyze user feedback and technical requirements to identify architectural or workflow risks and feed relevant technical insights back to the engineering team.
Reporting & Operational Discipline
Track daily testing coverage and report test execution results clearly, cleanly, and consistently to leadership.
Maintain 100% accuracy and high standards in bug tracking hygiene and ticket documentation — this is non-negotiable.
Monitor product health metrics and contribute to weekly technical summaries for the executive team.
Ensure all internal technical logs and external-facing release notes are clear, professional, and written to a high standard.
What We Are Looking For
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands-on, professional experience in software testing, quality assurance, or product engineering. We want an experienced specialist who has a proven track record of handling live production software, executing rigorous test plans, and managing bug tracking end-to-end.
Language: Strong English proficiency is required (both written and spoken) as the core engineering team and international markets operate in English.
Technical Skills & Key Strengths
Strong proficiency in project management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, ClickUp, Airtable).
Working knowledge of web developer tools (Chrome DevTools), API testing (e.g., Postman), and web application architectures.
Exceptional taste — you easily spot the difference between a user flow that feels seamless and intuitive versus one that feels frustrating, clunky, or broken.
Proactive and self-directed — you can independently manage a heavy testing workload in a remote, high-accountability environment without needing to be chased.
Excellent written communication across technical logs, bug reports, and team updates.
Analytical awareness — able to diagnose system behavior, identify underlying patterns in software or AI processing errors, and adjust testing strategies accordingly.
Work Setup & Compensation
Remote: 100% remote role — requires a dedicated home office setup with reliable high-speed internet and necessary testing devices.
Compensation: 200,000 monthly.
