Painter/Laborer

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Painter/Labourer to join our team. This role involves performing interior/exterior painting jobs for residential, commercial, and industrial projects, reading blueprints, and assisting with general labour tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities: Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and repairing as needed Apply paint, stains, or coatings to various surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for surface preparation and finishing tasks Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project specifications are met Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly

Experience: Prior experience in painting, residential or commercial painting preferred Knowledge of industrial painting techniques is a plus Familiarity with carpentry, caulking, and working with schematics or blueprints is advantageous Experience using hand tools such as scrapers, brushes, rollers, and measuring devices Ability to operate power tools safely, including drills, sanders, or sprayers Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with clients when necessary Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic setting This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about work and eager to develop their skills across multiple areas within the industry.
