Job Title: Nurse Supervisor / Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)

Location: Brooklyn, NY

Type: Contract

Pay Rate: $82 to $102/hr

Duration: 14 Weeks

Shift & Schedule: Day Shift Monday–Friday 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM 35 Hours/Week 1 Weekend Shift/Month

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Nurse Supervisor / Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for an exciting Travel or Local job in Brooklyn, NY.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement programs to improve patient care quality and staff performance

• Monitor nursing performance metrics across assigned units with nurse managers

• Support corrective action processes related to clinical performance issues

• Maintain systems for tracking medication errors and counseling documentation

• Evaluate unit performance and provide feedback to leadership

• Ensure compliance with clinical policies, procedures, and regulatory standards

• Support continuous quality improvement initiatives across nursing services

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient safety and care delivery

• Provide leadership support in Emergency Department operations as applicable

• Participate in 1 weekend shift per month rotation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required

• Active RN License (NYSED Verified) required

• BLS Certification required

• Minimum 7 years nursing experience required

• Minimum 5 years supervisory/leadership experience required

• Minimum 2 years Emergency Department (ED) experience required

• Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills required

• Ability to work independently in a high-responsibility role required

• Master’s Degree in Nursing preferred

• Prior nursing administration/ADON experience preferred

• Experience in quality improvement and regulatory compliance preferred
