MS-IL Staffing & Packaging and its local clients are NOW HIRING for 2nd Shift Case Picker in the Indianapolis, IN, area!

Position: Case Picker

Pay: $19.00

Shifts: 2:00PM-10:30pm, Monday to Friday (Some overtime required)

Location: Park100, Indianapolis North West

Job summary:

The Case Picker is responsible for accurately locating, picking, and preparing products for shipment in a fast-paced distribution center. Using tools such as RF scanners and pallet jacks, the role ensures timely and safe movement of goods while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Duties:

Utilize industrial power equipment to raise and lower materials to storage locations

Deliver materials from storage/staging locations to the specified department or shipping dock

Able to take on multiple tasks while executing daily operations safely and professionally

Demonstrates safety and conducts him/herself in accordance with all safety guidelines at all times; including accurate completion of all pre-shift equipment checks

Inspect product load for accuracy and safely move it around the warehouse or facility to ensure timely and complete delivery

Manually or mechanically load or unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, lifting devices, or other transport vehicles

Perform routine maintenance on vehicles or auxiliary equipment, such as cleaning, lubricating, recharging batteries, fueling, or replacing liquefied-gas tank

Wrap and placard materials accurately and appropriately prior to moving them to a storage area

Weigh materials or products and record weight or other production data on tags or labels

Operate or tend automatic stacking, loading, packaging, or cutting machines

All other duties as assigned

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

At least 1 years of experience in a distribution center

Must have ability to understand oral and written instructions in English

Must work well in a team environment and have strong communication skills

Must be able to physically perform the functions of stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions

Must possess visual acuity complete visual quality checks

Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

May be subject to seasonal temperature extremes

Work Environment:

Industrial food manufacturing facility with temperature-controlled work area. Must follow Good Manufacturing specific dress code with no jewelries, no nail polish, no artificial nails, must wear long pants with no holes or rips and use of lab coats.

PPE Requirements:

Ability to wear personal protective equipment's such as safety glasses, safety shoes.
