Job Description

General X-Ray Technologist (Contract)

Location: New York 14642

Pay: $1,987 – $2,230/weekSchedule

8-hour Evening Shift (3:30 PM – 12:00 AM)

Sunday – Thursday (5x8s)

On-call: 2–3 shifts per month (must report within 30 minutes)

Holidays and callback as neededPosition Summary & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging per physician orders

Verify patient identity and ensure accurate documentation

Position patients and operate radiologic equipment safely

Produce high-quality images for radiologist interpretation

Monitor patient condition and provide clear communication

Maintain equipment and report malfunctionsRequirements

Education: Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology program

Experience:

Minimum 2 years X-ray experience

Level 1 trauma center experience (required)

Recent OR experience (required)

C-arm/O-arm experience within last 8 months (required)

Licensure: NYS Tech license or ability to obtain prior to start (required)

Certifications:

ARRT certification

BLS (AHA only)

Additional:

Must be able to lift/move patients and stand for extended periods

Must be able to report within 30 minutes for on-call shifts
