Nursing Assistant (Contract) – NY 14456

Pay: $736 – $840

Schedule:

Full-Time, 3x12-hour shifts per week

Day and/or Night shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Every other weekend (EOW) required

Holidays requiredPosition Summary & Responsibilities

Provide basic patient care (vitals, ADLs, feeding)

Ensure safety, comfort, and mobility support

Document care and report patient changes

Assist with rounding and follow care plans

Float to SSMH as neededRequirements

BLS (AHA or RQI only) – Required

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Post-secondary education in Health/Human Services preferred

1–2 years customer service and/or healthcare experience (Med/Surg, ED, ICU preferred)

Strong communication, interpersonal, and basic computer skills

Knowledge of nursing assistant role and patient care practices

Ability to work with all patient age groups

Must follow safety protocols (bloodborne pathogen exposure possible)
