Quality Control Operator
The Quality Control Operator is responsible for maintaining quality on the production line by completing regular quality checks as well as checking bottles before they are packaged to remove any that have irregularities and do not meet quality guidelines. Waiakea Hawaiian Volcanic Water sources, manufactures and produces bottled water from start to finish at our Bottling Plant.

The Quality Control Operator is a full-time position.
Available Shift Schedules:
Shift 2: Monday-Saturday, 2:00pm-10:30pm

Essential Job Functions:
Maintain quality control by inspecting all bottles on the production line
Completes daily and weekly sanitation cleanings on production line
Work with Operators on the production line by communicating any errors in quality of manufactured product to ensure corrective action is taken
Discard bad finished product
Discard bottles that have cap issues, discoloration in bottles mold, deformations, and impurities
Ensure bottle coder is printing and printing the correct date, time and lot code
Check for label placement by referring to label placement guidelines
Other Skills/Abilities:
Ability to use a computer or tablet to enter production metrics
Ability to comprehend basic verbal and written instructions
Ability to distinguish and identify different products by reading labels

Education and Experience:
The ideal candidate will have a GED/high school education (preferred); or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
