You will help the team scale prototype-to-product templates and developer tooling that accelerate AI workflows and API integrations. Your work will impact internal and external developer experiences and will be consumed by product and platform teams across the organization. This is primarily an onsite role in New York with openness to remote work and a project timeline from June to December 2026.Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team
Design and build template systems and opinionated starter scaffolding for AI workflows, API integrations, and common UI patterns
Catalog and integrate internal APIs and third-party services; build integration patterns, wrappers, and example implementations
Create frontend components in React/Lit for template previews and configuration UIs
Implement Node.js backends for template generation, service proxying, and API integrations
Develop CLIs, build tools, scaffolding systems, and AI agents/skills
Write comprehensive documentation and improve onboarding flows and developer experience
Identify friction points and propose system improvements for reuse and scalabilityHere's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role
Strong full-stack web development experience with React and Node.js
Hands-on experience with AI/LLM APIs and prompt engineering
Proven experience building developer tooling (CLIs, build systems, scaffolding tools, template engines)
API integration expertise (REST/GraphQL, authentication, rate limiting, error handling)
Proficiency with modern JavaScript/TypeScript, npm ecosystem, ES modules, and async patterns
Systems thinking and ability to design for reuse; strong ownership and self-directed work style
Clear written and verbal communication; collaborative mindset
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experienceHere's What Else Might Help You Out
Design sensibility or experience with design tools (Figma)
Experience building and using component libraries, design systems, or frontend infrastructure
Background in template systems
Understanding of serverless architecture or containerization and familiarity with AWSPay Range
