Job Title: Engineering Integration Technician

Job Description

We are an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of Unmanned Systems seeking a talented integration technician. The role involves supporting the integration and installation of payloads. Responsibilities

Integrate mechanical, electrical, and electronic components on UAS platforms.

Install and configure mission payloads such as EO/IR, LiDAR, and RF.

Perform system checkouts, continuity tests, and troubleshooting.

Maintain accurate build records and follow safety, ESD, and FOD procedures.

Fabricate and test custom cable and wire harnesses for UAV platforms.

Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.

Conduct continuity and functional testing to IPC/WHMA standards.Essential Skills

Experience with UAS/robotics integration.

Ability to read engineering drawings and wiring diagrams.

Proficiency with hand tools, measurement devices, and diagnostic equipment.

Understanding of RF, sensors, or small aircraft systems.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Associate degree in engineering technology, aerospace, electronics, or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.

2–5 years of experience in aerospace, defense, automotive, robotics, or similar technical fields preferred.

Experience with UAS payload integration.

Familiarity with telemetry, data links, or flight operations.

IPC or aerospace workmanship certifications.Work Environment

This role is based onsite in Madison, reporting to the VP of engineering. You will be working in a collaborative environment with a focus on integrating cutting-edge technologies.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Madison, AL.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
