About the role
The BCGA Foundation is seeking professional and customer-focused Remote Customer Service Representatives to support our growing community and partner initiatives across gaming, esports, education, and technology programs.
This fully remote opportunity is ideal for individuals who enjoy helping people, solving problems, and creating positive customer experiences while working in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
As part of our team, you’ll assist students, event participants, partners, and community members by providing accurate information, resolving inquiries, and supporting the delivery of impactful programs that connect underserved communities to opportunities in gaming and technology.
What you’ll do
• Handle inbound customer service inquiries via phone, email, and support channels
• Provide professional, empathetic, and solution-focused support to students, partners, and community members
• Assist with event registrations, program inquiries, and general support requests
• Resolve customer concerns efficiently and escalate complex issues when necessary
• Accurately document interactions and maintain updated records
• Support participant satisfaction and timely issue resolution
• Follow internal processes, communication standards, and compliance guidelines
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve customer experience and engagement
What we’re looking for
• Minimum 6 months customer service or call center experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable using computer systems and Windows-based platforms
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a remote work environment
• Strong problem-solving and active listening abilities
• Professional attitude with the ability to remain calm under pressure
• Passion for community impact, education, gaming, esports, or technology is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent required
