Apex Systems, the nation’s 2nd largest IT Staffing organization, has immediate and exciting opportunity located in Columbus, Ohio. This is an 8 month contract opportunity with likely long term extensions.

Company & Group Details of Java Developer:

The Java/Kafka Developer will work with multiple business units to build and configure a new application that meets the needs of the integration project. This role will work with the project team for analysis and design, coding, configuration, testing and maintaining application performance.

Responsibilities of Java/Kafka Developer:

Work with the project team to design, build, and test applications.

Participate in writing and testing test cases as part of System Testing.

Coordinate with offshore developers and on site project team

Participate in gathering requirements in preparation for development and configuration.

Create and deliver design documents

Requirements for Java/Kafka Developer:

4 Year degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field

5+ year of experience in development and support of Java

Experience writing and analyzing detailed designs

Required Skills: Java and Kafka experience. Working on the backend with APIs Basic Qualification: Additional Skills: Background Check: Yes Notes: Can sit 100% remote, exclusive for a week. Interview times for next Friday, resume review on Wednesday.
