Job Title: Clinical Lab Technologist (Level 6) – Pathology

Location: New York, NY

Type: Full-Time

Salary: Up to $140,689 annually

Shift & Schedule: Day Shift Monday–Friday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM 35 Hours/Week

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Clinical Lab Technologist (Level 6) – Pathology for an exciting Travel or Local job in New York, NY.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations within the Anatomic Pathology laboratory

• Ensure compliance with NYS, NYSED, CAP, CLIA, and hospital regulatory standards

• Supervise and support laboratory personnel and workflow management

• Develop and implement laboratory programs, policies, and quality initiatives

• Maintain laboratory safety and operational efficiency

• Collaborate with pathology leadership and multidisciplinary healthcare teams

• Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives

• Oversee Histology, Cytopathology (future expansion), Gross Room, and Mortuary areas

Requirements:

• Active NYS Histological Technician License required

• Active NYSED Clinical Laboratory Technologist License required

• Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Technology OR related science field required

• Minimum 5 years clinical laboratory experience required

• Minimum 4 years Anatomic Pathology experience required

• Minimum 2 years laboratory leadership / operations oversight experience required

• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance (CAP, CLIA, NYS, NYSED) required

• Experience in program development and hospital laboratory operations required

Gross Room

Mortuary
