Client in the nonprofit sector is seeking a Senior Accountant to assist with audit preparation, reconciliations, and financial cleanup support while helping the finance team get current and positioned ahead. Salary is $60-$83k, DOE

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT:

The Senior Accountant will prepare audit schedules and provide audit support for year-end preparation

The Senior Accountant will complete reconciliations, including expense-related accounts such as loan and other payments

Assist with budget file preparation, data manipulation, and reporting support related to financial and grant activity

The Senior Accountant will pull and organize financial data while assisting with day-to-day accounting support as needed

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Must have experience supporting audits and preparing related schedules

Strong understanding of reconciliations, reporting, and GAAP accounting required

Advanced Excel skills including pivots, lookups, and data manipulation required

Nonprofit accounting experience is a plus but not required

Salary is $60-$83k, DOE
