Branch Manager I Platte Valley Bank
Responsible for the overall leadership, direction, and performance of the branch, ensuring exceptional customer service, operational efficiency, and achievement of sales goals. Oversee the workflow and supervision of Associates performing money handling and account management functions within the branch. Leads by example, creating an environment of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement while building strong community connections to promote company products, services and promotions and effective handoffs for cross-company referrals.
Essential Functions:
Manage branch activities to achieve established goals and objectives.
Supervise, coach and develop a high-performing branch team.
Cultivate an environment focused on proactive customer engagement, service excellence, and continuous learning.
Oversee the workflow, scheduling and staffing of associates handling financial transactions and account servicing to maintain efficient coverage during business hours.
Serve as location leader for performing daily personal and business account services that include opening, servicing, transaction processing and account maintenance in a timely, accurate and efficient manner per banking policy and procedures.
Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in banking functions by performing at or above established standards and meeting branch goals.
Establish full proficiency in all customer banking tools to educate and troubleshoot digital, mobile banking, and bank card issues and inquiries.
Act as the primary liaison for money handling, account management and process improvement between front-line associates and internal departments.
Maintain current knowledge of all money handling and account management policies and procedures, company policies and regulatory requirements.
Oversee vault management and ensure adequacy of currency and coin supply in adherence to branch cash limits and security policies.
Supervise the training of new associates and support ongoing peer training efforts and resources to maintain high service levels.
Granted consumer lending authority to advise on applicable loan products, evaluate loan applications, determine creditworthiness, advise applicants on loan options, and ensure compliance with regulations.
Additionally, the administration of a consumer lender loan portfolio includes maintaining strong relationships with borrowers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business and tracking loan payments, identifying potential delinquencies, and taking appropriate action.
Participate in and coordinate associates attendance at operational meetings, training and activities related to consumer deposit functions, branch efficiency and other company initiatives.
Ensure adherence to internal controls and risk management protocols for fraud detection and prevention.
Represent the bank in the community and business development activities, strengthening the bank's local presence.
Oversee the general maintenance, safety, and security of the branch facility, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment for customers and staff.

Minimum Qualifications:
Three to five years of experience in bank operations or related banking functions.
High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
Ability to assertively market bank products and services in a new market utilizing appropriate sales and marketing skills.
Fundamental knowledge of mathematics including statistical and financial mathematics skills.
Knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, and lending procedures and practices.
General areas of competency: decision making, dependability, development, environmental safety, evaluation skills, interpersonal skills, prioritizing, problem solving, selling skills, team skills and time management.
Demonstrated record of achievement in social and/or extracurricular and leadership skills.
Demonstrated aptitude to handle sensitive operational transactions and customer relationships.

Must be capable of working with and maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information.
