Supervisory Property Disposal Specialist

Job Title

This position involves helping to implement reverse logistics solutions and planning the efficient, cost-effective flow of spare materials, in-process inventory, and related information from when property is declared as excess to disposition to recapture value or ensure compliant disposal.

The role includes advising and guiding agencies and/or holding activities on the interpretation and use of disposal policies.

It also requires collaborating closely with customers to determine short and long-term requirements, as well as developing, executing, and continually refining those specific customer needs.

Additionally, the position involves evaluating and recommending actions to accommodate unique constraints, concerns, or desires of various Military Commands or customers.

The job also entails preparing or demonstrating capabilities of newly automated disposal methods, operational processes, and techniques.
