Job Role
Sales Representative – Marine Engine responsible for driving B2B revenue growth and expanding the customer base for marine engines and spare parts across Indonesia. The role covers end-to-end sales execution, including lead generation, technical selling, account management, and after-sales support, with a strong focus on maritime and industrial clients such as shipowners, shipyards, and mining-related marine operators.
Key Responsibilities
Generate new B2B leads in marine, mining, and power generation sectors
Conduct technical sales presentations on marine engines and related systems
Manage existing customer accounts and drive repeat spare parts orders
Monitor competitor activities and market trends for sales strategy input
Handle full sales cycle: inquiry, quotation, negotiation, and deal closing
Support after-sales relationship management and customer retention
Coordinate with internal teams for technical and commercial support
Candidate Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) or Business/Marketing
5+ years B2B sales experience in heavy equipment, marine, or industrial machinery
Strong knowledge of marine engines, gearboxes, and generator sets
Existing network in shipyard, shipping, or maritime industry preferred
Understanding of technical specs (horsepower, torque, efficiency, etc.)
Experience in end-to-end sales cycle and contract negotiation
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Willing to travel frequently across Indonesia
Fluent English for business communication and reporting
Results-driven, resilient, and hands-on field sales mindset
