Our Sales Consultant compensation plan is built around salary plus commission. New Sales Consultants start with a monthly salary, and as performance increases, salary levels increase with it.
Current salary tiers include:
Entry: $4,000 monthly salary
Professional: $5,000 monthly salary
Executive: $6,500 monthly salary
Master: $8,500 monthly salary
In addition to salary, Sales Consultants earn per-unit compensation on vehicles delivered and may qualify for monthly performance bonuses, elite production accelerators, Salesperson of the Month bonuses, and annual elite bonus opportunities for sustained high performance.

What You’ll Do
As a Sales Consultant, you will be the customer-facing representative of Walt Massey Auto Group. Your role is to help customers find the right vehicle, deliver an exceptional guest experience, and build lasting relationships that lead to repeat and referral business.
Responsibilities include:
Greet customers professionally and create a great first impression
Respond quickly to internet, phone, and digital leads
Use a consultative approach to understand customer needs and match them with the right vehicle
Present vehicles, explain features, and conduct professional test drives
Follow the Walt Massey Road to the Sale process with every customer
Build value, overcome objections, and ask for the business
Maintain accurate customer records and follow-up activity in the CRM
Complete daily customer outreach through calls, texts, emails, and personalized videos
Follow up with sold and unsold customers to create repeat and referral opportunities
Ask for reviews and referrals after every delivery
Use social media to promote inventory, customer deliveries, and the Walt Massey brand
Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and performance reviews
Maintain a positive, professional appearance and attitude every day
What Success Looks Like
Successful Sales Consultants at Walt Massey are not order takers. They are relationship builders, problem solvers, and consistent operators.
You will be expected to:
Follow the sales process
Respond quickly to customers
Complete CRM tasks and follow-up
Build a book of repeat and referral customers
Deliver a strong customer experience
Maintain strong CSI performance
Stay accountable to daily activity and monthly production goals
Continue improving through training and coaching
This is a performance-based role. Compensation, advancement, and earning potential are tied directly to production, customer experience, process execution, and consistency.

Strong communication and people skills
Positive attitude and professional presence
Coachable mindset and willingness to follow a process
Self-motivated and goal-oriented
Comfortable using technology, CRM tools, texting, email, video, and social media
Available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Authorized to work in the United States
Prior automotive sales experience is preferred, but not required
