Job Description

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join a fast-paced warehouse and distribution team in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, unload, and organize products throughout the facility. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to work efficiently in a high-volume environment, and committed to maintaining accuracy and safety standards during all warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently

Load and unload trailers while verifying product accuracy

Move products throughout the warehouse and stage materials for shipment

Perform inventory and product checks to ensure accuracy and minimize damage

Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures

Assist with general warehouse duties as needed to support operations

Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements to perform the job safely

Qualifications & Skills

Previous forklift operating experience preferred

Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment in a fast-paced environment

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Basic warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience is a plus

Ability to lift, carry, and move materials throughout the shift

Reliable attendance and strong teamwork skills

Willingness to work overtime and flexible schedules as needed

Steel toe shoes/boots required

Employment Type & Compensation

This is a Full-Time Temp-to-Hire position

Pay rate is $21.00 per hour

Application Window: Open until filled

Work Schedule

1st Shift 8:00 AM – until work is completed
