Job Summary We are seeking a Scrum Master to support a technology product line responsible for the ongoing enhancement and operational stability of a Work and Asset Management platform (IBM Maximo). This role blends professional Scrum mastery with financial stewardship and lightweight project management responsibilities.

The Scrum Master will help the team self-organize, remove impediments, and continuously improve processes while also managing forecasting, budgeting, and governance processes across multiple initiatives.

This individual will collaborate closely with product, technology, and business partners to ensure alignment, transparency, and predictable delivery.

Job Description What You'll Do: * Serve as the Scrum Master for one or more teams, ensuring effective facilitation of Scrum events and adherence to Agile principles * Coach teams in Agile principles, self management, empiricism, and continuous improvement to strengthen delivery effectiveness and predictability * Facilitate team level events that support collective decision making, goal setting, planning, and healthy conflict resolution * Cause the removal of impediments and risks that limit flow, quality, or team progress * Use flow metrics and evidence based insights to improve throughput, stability, and value delivery * Lead financial planning activities including forecasting, budgeting, and tracking spend against product and portfolio commitments * Maintain internal project management and governance processes, ensuring artifacts and reporting align with enterprise standards * Partner with Product Owners and leadership to align priorities, capacity, and funding across the product line * Build strong relationships with business partners, IT leadership, and external stakeholders to promote transparency and shared understanding * Support internal and external communication, radiating information to improve visibility and alignment What We're Looking For: Education: * Bachelor's degree in project management, computer science, or related technical field is required.

Experience: * 3 years of relevant work experience is required.

* An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.

Skills & Qualifications * Strong knowledge of Scrum and Agile frameworks with the ability to coach teams and drive maturity * Proven ability to influence, coach, and lead without direct authority * Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills * Strong organizational, analytical, and financial acumen * Experience with IBM Maximo or work and asset management systems preferred * Experience in regulated or enterprise environments (utilities, energy, infrastructure, etc.) preferred * Scrum Master or Agile certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe SM) preferred * Scrum Master, Agile Delivery Lead, or similar role * Demonstrated experience managing forecasting, budgeting, and financial tracking for technology initiatives or product lines * Experience supporting multiple Agile teams within a product centric and scaled environment * Hands on experience with Jira, Xray, ServiceNow, or similar Agile delivery tools * Experience with Scrum, Kanban, Evidence Based Management (EBM), and outcome based delivery practices * Test Automation experience is a plus American Electric Power (On-Site) #LI-Onsite #AEPCareers At AEP, we're more than just an energy company - we're a team of dedicated professionals committed to delivering safe, reliable, and innovative energy solutions.

Compensation Data Compensation Grade: SP20-007 Compensation Range: $87,633.00 - $109,543.00 The Physical Demand Level for this job is: S - Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (Occasionally: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently.

(Frequently: activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.

Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.

Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
