On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Pre-Litigation Case Manager to join their team remotely. The Pre-Litigation Case Manager is responsible for managing personal injury cases from intake to settlement, ensuring efficient case progression and effective communication with clients, medical providers, and insurance adjusters. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced legal environment. The ideal candidate will have experience handling pre-litigation matters, drafting legal documents, and coordinating case-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities
Case Management: Oversee the progress of pre-litigation personal injury cases, ensuring timely follow-ups and resolution.
Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates, gathering necessary information, and addressing concerns.
Medical Coordination: Obtain medical records and bills, track treatment progress, and coordinate with medical providers.
Insurance Communication: Handle correspondence with insurance companies, including demand letters, settlement negotiations, and follow-ups.
Document Preparation: Draft legal documents, including demand letters, medical chronologies, and case summaries.
Evidence Collection: Organize and maintain case files, including police reports, witness statements, and medical records.
Settlement Support: Assist attorneys in negotiating settlements and preparing settlement documents.
Compliance and Deadlines: Ensure adherence to legal procedures, court deadlines, and case milestones.
Reporting: Generate case status reports and update case tracking systems.
Ad Hoc Tasks: Support attorneys and the legal team with additional administrative or case-related tasks as needed.
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or a related field.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in personal injury pre-litigation case management or a similar legal role.
Strong knowledge of personal injury law and legal procedures.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently and meet deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Two professional references and a valid criminal background check issued within the last 60 days are required for all successful applicants.
Completion of intake paperwork, including submission of a valid tax identification number (e.g., Social Security Number, Social Insurance Number, or the country’s equivalent), is required before onboarding.
Preferred Qualifications
Paralegal certification or formal legal training.
Experience handling high-volume case loads.
Familiarity with insurance claims and settlement negotiations.
Bilingual proficiency (if applicable to client needs).
