Job Title: Data Center Project Manager (AWS Migration)

Location: 100% Remote (Preferred: Edina, MN / Seattle, WA / Alpharetta, GA / Boston, MA / New York, NY)

Duration: 12+ Months

Rate: $Market/Hour

NOTE: The client will only consider candidates who are local to the Edina MN / Seattle, WA / Alpharetta GA / Boston, MA / New York, NY area. Relocation candidates and non-local profiles will not be accepted.

Job Requirements:

• BA/BS in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or related area of study from an accredited college or university with applicable project management experience.

• 5+ years of experience managing complex technology projects, with demonstrated experience in infrastructure modernization, cloud migration, or data center exit initiatives.

• Proven experience coordinating on-prem to cloud (AWS preferred) application migrations or refactoring efforts, including multiple concurrent workstreams.

• Ability or Proven IT delivery background with experience across the systems development life cycle with experience in all program/project phases – plan, initiate, elaborate, design, build, test, and implement.

• Strong understanding of legacy infrastructure environments and the challenges associated with modernization, technical debt, and application dependencies.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to multitask and handle interruptions.

• Not afraid to get involved in complex issues to drive problem solving and rapidly get to solutions.

• Must be a self-starter with the ability to "manage upward"; able to think on your feet and exercise good judgment and decision making. Must pay attention to details.

• PMP or Project Management certification is a plus.

• Financial Services background is a plus.
