Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer with 5+ years of experience to support the management, stability, and modernization of a large-scale enterprise data platform environment. The role focuses on maintaining and improving existing on-premise infrastructure while contributing to the transition toward modern cloud-native solutions.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience with Linux environments, Kubernetes, Hadoop, automation, and enterprise platform operations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage, maintain, and optimize Hadoop and Kubernetes-based applications
Monitor platform stability, performance, and availability
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and platform-related issues
Design and develop scripts and automation solutions to reduce manual operational work
Implement technical improvements across existing applications and platform services
Support data migration initiatives toward cloud-native environments
Assist with network connectivity and infrastructure integration tasks
Work within Agile/Scrum teams and participate in stand-ups, refinements, and technical discussions
Collaborate closely with Cloud Engineers, Data Engineers, Infrastructure teams, Architects, and Product Owners
Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
Hands-on experience working in Linux-based environments.
Experience with or knowledge of Hadoop.
Basic scripting knowledge, preferably Bash and/or Python.
Experience in enterprise production environments.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Experience supporting large-scale data platforms and infrastructure environments.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with cloud-native technologies and automation
Experience with data migration projects
Hands-on experience with Terraform and Ansible
Knowledge of Packer
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts
