Position Details

Role: ScienceLogic Consultant

Location: Columbus, Ohio (5 Days Onsite)

Duration: 6–12 Months

Employment Type: W2 Only (No C2C)

Local candidates from Columbus, OH are preferred. Non-local candidates may also be considered if they are willing to relocate to Columbus, OH upon selection. No relocation assistance will be provided.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled ScienceLogic Consultant with strong expertise in implementation, administration, and management of ScienceLogic platforms, including both SaaS and On-Premises environments. The ideal candidate should also possess hands-on experience with HCL BigFix and enterprise monitoring solutions.

The consultant will be responsible for deploying, configuring, troubleshooting, and optimizing monitoring and automation solutions to support enterprise IT infrastructure and operations.

Key Responsibilities

Implement, configure, and manage ScienceLogic SL1 environments (SaaS and On-Premises)

Perform installation, integration, administration, and upgrades of ScienceLogic platforms

Design and maintain monitoring solutions for servers, networks, applications, and cloud environments

Develop dashboards, automation workflows, alerts, and reporting within ScienceLogic

Integrate ScienceLogic with enterprise tools and third-party applications

Manage and support HCL BigFix infrastructure and endpoint management activities

Troubleshoot performance issues, incidents, and monitoring gaps

Collaborate with infrastructure, operations, and application teams for monitoring requirements

Ensure platform stability, scalability, and security best practices

Create technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge transfer materials

Support production deployments and ongoing operational activities

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience with ScienceLogic SL1 implementation and administration

Experience working with both ScienceLogic SaaS and On-Premises versions

Strong expertise in HCL BigFix administration and management

Experience with monitoring tools, automation, and IT infrastructure management

Knowledge of Windows/Linux server environments

Understanding of networking concepts, SNMP, APIs, integrations, and cloud technologies

Experience in troubleshooting enterprise monitoring environments

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in large enterprise environments

Exposure to ITSM integrations and automation frameworks

Relevant certifications in ScienceLogic or infrastructure technologies are a plus

Background Check & Compliance

Background check required from candidate’s 18th birthday till present

Drug test will be conducted by Infinite

Client will perform:

BCI (Bureau of Criminal Investigation) Check

FBI Background Verification

BCI process may take up to 30 days after fingerprinting

Candidate onboarding will begin only after successful completion of all checks
