Construction Superintendent

Job Description

We are seeking a Construction Superintendent to join our team! You will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation for general construction projects.

Responsibilities:

Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors

Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation

Coordination of multi construction project by scheduling each sub-subcontractor or vendor with the ability to change and adjust schedule to stay on target for completion date.

Keep track of job site hours, sub-contractor hours and activity

update Daily Log with photos and job site work completed

Allocate resources for assigned projects

Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients

Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs

Ensure compliant with safety, health, and quality standards.

Willingness to think outside the box to get the projects completed, as well as maintaining a good relationship with our customers, sub-contractors and team members.

Purchasing of equipment and materials for the project.

Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications

Qualifications:

Previous experience in construction management or other related fields

Strong leadership qualities

Daily Log for Projects

Knowledge of local quality, safety, and health guidelines for construction job site

Experience running 8-12 week project schedule for Tenant Improvements

Familiarity with Plan Reading and be able to delegate a scope of work based on plans

Proficiency in MS Office

Knowledge with PROCORE is a plus

Ability to lead and keep team / project moral positive and moving forward

Trade Skill and knowledge is a plusCompany Description
