Building Automation Sales Account Executive

Comfort Systems USA Ohio is growing our Building Automation and Integrated Systems team and we’re looking for a motivated, relationship-driven professional to join us as a Building Automation Account Executive .

This role is ideal for someone with SALES experience in:

Building Automation Systems (BAS/DDC)

HVAC controls

Security integration

Access control

Low-voltage systems

Technical or commercial service sales

As a Building Automation Sales Representative, you will serve as a technical consultant to building owners, facility managers, contractors, engineers, and end users by helping identify operational challenges and delivering practical, value-driven building solutions.

This is more than a traditional sales role. You’ll work directly with customers to develop solutions related to:

Building automation systems

Controls upgrades

Service agreements

Retrofit opportunities

Energy optimization

Integrated building technologies

What You’ll Do

Develop new business opportunities and grow existing customer relationships

Build relationships with building owners, contractors, engineers, and facility teams

Conduct customer site visits and system assessments

Develop estimates, scopes of work, and customer proposals

Identify opportunities for service agreements, controls upgrades, and retrofit projects

Manage opportunities from prospecting through project award and customer follow-up

Maintain an active pipeline and support long-term account growth

What We’re Looking For

Experience in technical sales, BAS/DDC, HVAC controls, security integration, low-voltage systems, or related industries

Strong relationship-building and communication skills

Experience with estimating, proposals, or solution development preferred

Self-motivated and proactive approach to business development

Comfortable working directly with customers and managing opportunities independently

CRM and pipeline management experience preferred
