Job Opportunity – Cardiac Sonographer – Ohio

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Flexible options available: 4x10 hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM) or 5x8 hour shifts (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM), Monday through Friday with occasional Saturday coverage (8:00 AM - 1:00 PM, approximately 2-3 Saturdays per 13-week contract)

Highlights:

Diverse case mix including portable exams, inpatient unit studies, and outpatient cardiology procedures with varying levels of acuity

Work with state-of-the-art ultrasound equipment including Philips, GE, and Siemens systems

Epic charting system utilized for documentation

Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Rapid Response Teams, and Pharmacy

Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics across multiple medical specialties

13-week travel contract with up to two pre-approved time-off requests

Requirements:

BLS certification required; ACLS preferred

ARDMS, RDCS, or CCI-RCS credential required (one of these certifications must be held)

Minimum 5 years of cardiac sonography experience required

Previous travel experience required

Epic charting system experience required

Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program

2 professional references required, including at least one from a manager, director, or formal supervisor

Ohio fingerprinting must be completed promptly upon contract signing
