Job Opportunity – Bone Marrow Transplant Nurse (Hematology/Oncology) – Ohio

Start Date: June 29, 2026

Schedule: 12-hour rotating day/night shifts OR 12-hour night shifts available; scheduling reviewed every 4-week period based on unit needs

Highlights:

Specialized 36-bed Bone Marrow Transplant unit with mixed acuity progressive care and medical-surgical patient population

Advanced oncology care including autologous, syngeneic, and allogeneic transplants, plus CAR-T therapy

Comprehensive patient diagnoses including ALL, AML, multiple myeloma, lymphomas, and myelodysplastic syndromes

EPIC electronic health record system with full interdisciplinary support including rapid response teams

72-hour orientation period to ensure successful onboarding and unit integration

Float only to other medical-surgical oncology units within the hospital system

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years RN experience with at least 1 year of current specialty experience

Medical-surgical and inpatient hematology/oncology experience required (1 year minimum); heme/onc strongly preferred

Current RN license (compact or Ohio state license required at submission)

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy certification required

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred

EPIC charting experience required

Experience with leukemia/blood dyscrasias, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma is mandatory

Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, chemotherapy administration, central line management, and blood product administration

2 professional references required (at least 1 from manager/director or supervisor)

Nursing education from ACEN or CCNE accredited program

Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
