Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Baker role at Winn Winn Cafe in Columbus, OH. The Assistant Baker works alongside the Head Pastry Chef to execute baking across all three arms of the business: wholesale, catering, and daily production for the retail cafe. Everything is made from scratch, so a solid grasp of baking fundamentals is essential. Daily responsibilities include pre-scaling ingredients, prep work, mixing, baking, and ensuring the freshness and consistency of every product. The Assistant Baker also contributes to broader food preparation tasks and upholds the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.

Qualifications

Availability for early mornings and weekends required

Ability to lift at least 50 lb bags and stand for extended periods
