Job Details:
• Work day shift hours from 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM
• Day shift staffing includes 3-5 Techs and 2-4 RNs
• On-call requirements of 7-8 days per month, including one weekend
• 30-minute response time requirement for on-call duties
• Work in 2 catheterization suites equipped with Phillips equipment
• Perform basic cath lab skills including scrubbing and monitoring
• Provide conscious moderate sedation support
• Minimum 1 year current acute care hospital Cath Lab Tech experience required
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Required: ARRT (CI) or (CV) preferred, or RCIS or RCES certification
• If holding RCIS or RCES, must be willing to apply for registration as Fluoroscopy Operator in Colorado with DORA before starting
• Preferred qualifications: ARRT (R) or RCIS, EP scrubbing experience, prior Meditech experience
• Utilize EMR systems including Meditech and Mac Lab
• Must demonstrate strong communication skills and ability to manage stressful situations
• Team player attitude required for collaborative work environment
Facility:
This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive cardiac services program featuring a modern catheterization laboratory with 2 specialized suites. The facility is part of a 272-bed hospital that maintains advanced cardiac care capabilities with state-of-the-art Phillips equipment. The cath lab team consists of experienced staff including 5 technicians and 6 registered nurses, creating a supportive and collaborative work environment focused on high-quality patient care and professional development.
